July
11th
Every Saturday we have a work party. First priority was to seal
the building to the elements. Volunteers work on the roof. |

July
18th
One team
works on the roof, others take down walls inside. We get an
inkling of what the sanctuary is going to look like.
Nasty carpet
is being removed.

July
25th and 27th
Walls are
still coming down and we can see what the sanctuary is going
to look like.
Floor tiles
are coming up, and insulation is being stapled up.
Some large
trees are removed, and others trimmed. |

August
1st
Sheet rock
begins going up. Doors are being scraped and painted. Windows
cleaned.
The youth group really pitch in doing all sorts of yard work,
cleaning, and general repairs. |

August
8th
Work continues on cleaning windows, working on the floor. Rich
begins sanding cabinets from the kitchen, and the ceiling of
the office gets a coat of paint. |

August
15th
The office
gets a coat of paint. Debris cleaning out in the yard. The
gnome moves outside to supervise. Still more cleaning
of windows. The outside of the building gets pressure washed. |

August
22nd
Some nice shots of the outside of the building. Work continues
on the cabinets. Yard work continues picking up large amounts
of debris, downed trees and branches.

29th
Work continues
outside. Here Jeff and Don are moving enormous blocks of stone.
Painting of cabinet doors continue.
Prep of cabinet hardware and general cleanup continues.
Painting is nearly done in the office. |

September 5th
The office is looking good in it's final color of blue. The floor
is painted with a water proof base.
Five more trees come out of the yard. Supervised by the gnome.
Scraping and painting continue on the inside.
We begin moving items from the old ministry center into this
building. |

September 12th
Final color of paint is on the cabinets in the kitchen.
Primer
is being applied in the hallway.
Ethernet
wires being pulled.
More debris
pulled out of the side yard. |

September 19th
Work continues in the new sanctuary and in the kitchen.
The dumpster
is back to remove all the debris from both inside and out,
and to handle upcoming emergency roof repairs.
Don shows up with a bobcat to really tackle the outside work. |

September 26th
This was
a very busy and productive week. There are many, many pictures.
The big project was emergency repairs to the roof. It lasted
all day, but was sealed just as the rain started!
The chopped up rubber
mulch piles are leaving from the side and back of the property.
More dead trees and limbs are removed.
The diamond
patterns are covered in primer. The Outer office is looking
good and the inner office is getting some attention.
The kitchen cabinets sport a pale sage green paint job, but
there's more to do.

October
3rd
It was another
busy week at Osbourne street. One of the Bathrooms and the
kitchen cabinets get primed. One of the main rooms gets a second
coat of primer.
Jean continues
scraping floor tiles in the pastor's office.
The outside
got most of the attention this week with 4 guys working out
there.

October 10th
The outside roof project gets more attention. The tree trimming
and cleanup moves to the front side yard.
All the tiles are up off the Pastor's office floor and it gets
cleaned.
Priming, priming, priming. |

October 17th
Rain is the key word here today. We discovered many more leaks
from the roof and in through the doors.
We unloaded a stove and put it into position.
Jean begins painting the floor in the Pastor's office.
And there's a new broom cupboard. |

October 24th
Another rainy day here on Osbourne Street. But we had a big
crew today.
A combination heater and A/C unit was installed in the office.
Mark removed floor tiles in the bathroom.
A false wall in the rear room was opened to reveal a closet
with a hole in the floor into the crawl space.
The rear wall gets prepped for primer.
The cabinet doors get installed on the wall behind the stove. |

October
31st
Another rainy day. Earlier in the week a Japanese Maple tree
was moved and some paving was put down.
Rich puts on the rain
gear and cleans mud off the new parking lot. Old pipes are removed from holes in the floor. Don built an
access hatch.
The closet holding the hot water heater is opened up. The hot
water heater is tested.
The room heater gets some trim. |

November 7th
Bruce and Bob search for the leak in the roof and find a likely
candidate.
There's lots of priming going on in the back rooms.
The hot water heater is removed.
An old doorway is removed.
The furnace is turned on.
Tape is scraped off walls. |

November 14th
The back bathroom gets stripped of fixtures and cabinets, then
primed.
The blocks
in the Pastor's office are cleaned and ready for prrimer.
The red room, back bathroom, and Pastor's bathroom all get primed.
Some of the rubber mulch is dumped into the dumpster, as well
as much of the rubble. |

November 21st
The shower stall and interior walls are removed from the back
bathroom.
The colorful blocks in the Pastor's office are are primed.
The bobcat is back to clear the backyard. |
