We've raised $233,380 against our goal of $600,000 |
Tree
of Life Lutheran Church has always been faithful in meeting
God's challenges. We have done so without
a permanent home for our ministry, worship, Christian education,
outreach, and all the other acts of love and stewardship to
which we, as a community of faith, are called by our salvation
and by
our baptism.
It has certainly been a challenge, but by God's grace, it
has also been a joy.
Now comes a new challenge, a new joy, a moment for which many
of us have waited for a long time. We will soon leave rent payments
behind as we move into our own property at 505 Osbourne Street
in Odessa.
It is an exciting time and through our faith we will meet
all challenges.
We will need to renovate part of the building already on the
property to temporarily accommodate our worship and ministry
(phase I). Additionally there are the future challenges of
removing part of the existing structure and adding a sanctuary
(phase II).
To accomplish this, we are pleased to announce the beginning
of our Capital Campaign. The theme for our campaign is TOL
3:16, which stands for Through Our Love.
Our goal is a 3 year campaign, an average
attendance of 100 per Sunday and a total
commitment of $600,000. |
