Bruce
cut and installed trim around the new heater.

Don
and Jeff removed the old plumbing that was sticking up through
the floor in two locations.
They've determined that the only access to the crawl space is
through a tiny hole in the floor in the closet that was uncovered
last week. |
 |
This
is the hole in the closet that was behind the false wall. Don
looks unconvinced that Jeff's going to fit into the hole and
checks it out himself.

Jeff went
into the crawl space to check the plumbing that had to be removed.
Unfortunately, the photographer wasn't available for that event.
He claims that Don had to help push him through the hole! |

Jean brought lunch for the crew.
Thanks, Jean! |

Note that the plumbing is gone. Don's preparing
to build an access panel to cover the hole in the floor. |

The heater was on today and heated that whole end of the building! |

| Rocco
and Gene moved the Japanese Maple out of the way of the paving.
It was to the right of this picture. |

Jeff
and Don removed some shelving from inside the closet and removed
a bookcase from the hallway to open up this closet.
This closet
has a large hot water heater with two heating elements, only
one of which works. There used to be several sinks in rooms
which no longer exist.
This water
heater will probably come out since it only heats water for
one remaining bathroom. A small local heater will be installed
directly in the bathroom. |

| Every one else is leaving, and Rich is still washing
and shoveling mud. That's dedication! Thanks, Rich. |
