Sunday School - Our Sunday School is held during the worship service time, but starts at 10:20, not 10:30. Children are escorted back to the worship service by the teacher, in time for Holy Communion. We have 2 classes, ages Kindergarten-grade 3 and grades 4-6. Both classes are using the Bible based “Faithweaver” curriculum. Our children under age 5 attend the nursery, with our full time nursery attendant, Elizabeth. Bible stories and songs are learned in the nursery setting. Our Sunday School teachers are Nancy Nadel, Jodi Rinaldi, Nicky Zaiser, Johanna Salemink, Donna Lintz, and Maty Young. We do not have Sunday School during the summer months. There is a nursery every Sunday.

Vacation Bible School - We are planning to have Vacation Bible School this summer (2010). Stay tuned for updates! We look forward to using our new church home in Odessa.

Adult Bible Study is held each Monday night at the home of Gerrit and Johanna Salemink. This group chooses which book of the Bible they want to study, alternating Old and New Testament. They have studied Paul’s letters, Revelation, Daniel, Ecclesiastes, and Job. No previous Bible study experience is necessary, as all are welcome! Contact the Saleminks or the church office if you are interested.

Confirmation Classes prepare 7th and 8th graders for increased responsibilities as members of the church. These classes are taught by Pastor Hamlin on Sunday evenings and parents also attend the classes. For more information, contact Pastor Hamlin.

Youth Group is open to those in grades 7-12. We meet monthly for friendship, service projects and faith building. For more information, contact Sylvia Schill.

Baptism Instruction is available. Contact Pastor Hamlin if you would like to be baptized of if you would like your child baptized.

New Members Class is for those who would like to join Tree of Life. Contact the church office if you are interested.
