Outreach Team

Grocery Club.
Join us on the third Friday of each month for our Grocery Club distribution, where we tell people Jesus loves them by providing them with food for 3-4 meals. We meet the 3rd Friday of each month. Join us at 2:30 pm as we sort the food, or from 4 to 6 as we distribute it to the clients.

If you prefer to make a donation of food, here is a list of items to consider:

Cereal Peanut Butter Tuna fish Canned luncheon meat
Pork & Beans Canned Pasta Canned Soup Macaroni & Cheese (Box)
Saltines Canned Juice Canned Fruit Other non-perishables
Spaghetti Sauce Soap Dry Pasta Canned Vegetables - Especially:
Spinach, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes

Lutheran Community Services (www.lcsde.org) - Lutheran Community Services serves low income families in Wilmington and New Castle County with emergency food, housing and other services. At Tree of Life, we help this worthy organization through food distribution and volunteering. We also participate in their Annual September fundraiser, the 5K Walk/Run Against Hunger. Conference Golf Tournament – As a part of the Delmarva conference, we participate annually in a golf tournament to help fund mission congregations on the Delmarva Peninsula. Like to play golf? Join us.
